Birthday Sundaes - Cakes and Cupcakes Birthday Blog Hop!

A happy little flower to carry birthday wishes. . .

Seize the cupcake for a delicious day!

Hi Everyone!!

Hope you are all terrific today!  I want to thank everyone for visiting my blog!  I love reading all your comments!!   I will visit your blog soon and check out all your wonderful projects.  Also, thank you so much for all the tips on photography.  I took these pictures using your tips.  I am going to keep working at this until I can find the right formula. . .

Today I am sharing a card I made for the Birthday Sundaes Cakes and Cupcakes Blog Hop, you can check it out here.  There are so many inspiring creations from the design team and all the links - not to mention some great giveaways along the way!

I wanted to try something a little different with a slightly monochromatic look.  I started looking through my paper stacks and the DCWV Lemon Flower stack just jumped out at me!  I used my Imagine to create the script paper and lots of pop dots for dimension.  I also embossed the sentiment using silver embossing powder.  What do you think?

Don't forget to enter for my Michael's gift card giveaway (see the link to the left above).

Thanks for visiting and have a GREAT week!!

My Recipe:
Flower - Kate's ABCs
Cupcake - Doodlecharms
Paper - DCWV - Mango Frost, Lemon Flower, Lori's Garden (Imagine Cart)
Sizzix - dragon fly
Stickles
Stamp - Hero Arts
Silver embossing powder
Ribbon & flower - my stash

  1. I really like that kind of monochromatic look you gave to your card. Are the phrases under the pictures the sentiment you wrote inside the card? Love that verse!
